Optional AI and credit pools
Included credits expire at the next monthly renewal. Paid workspaces can purchase 1,000 additional credits for $10; purchased credits do not expire.
The app quotes an action’s credit cost before generation. Local templates, formatting, reading and exports do not spend AI credits. Connected external agents use their own model accounts, rather than spending Chessboard credits.
Canceling Paid preserves purchased credits, but hosted AI use and document editing require an active Paid entitlement.
How seats work
Every accepted workspace member counts as one seat, including the owner and viewers. Pending invitations do not count. A solo workspace uses one seat.
Using multiple Chessboard capabilities does not add seats. Connecting an AI agent does not create another member charge.
Five paid seats cost $49.95 monthly or $495 annually. Additional seats use a reviewed prorated quote; capacity activates after confirmed payment. Removing a member leaves reusable capacity until renewal. Seat reductions take effect at renewal without a partial-period refund.
Any applicable tax and the final payment total are shown before payment confirmation.
Workspace storage
The 1 GiB allowance is shared across the workspace, not allocated per member or project. It covers retained Markdown, document images and document history. Retention and cleanup are managed by the service.
Images are resized and optimized in the browser before upload. The document library accepts Markdown, text and supported document ZIP imports. Scanned PDF conversion, OCR, recordings and general file storage are not part of this offer.
Keep access to your saved work
Cancel renewal through the customer portal. Paid access continues through the paid period.
After Paid ends, authorized document reading and export remain available. Document editing, new imports and hosted AI pause. Ordinary task work continues under Free limits; saved content is not deleted simply because a subscription ends.
